Here is the email that Callee sent this week.
We got a huge snow storm yesterday. It snowed all day long. We couldn't drive our car because President Wilkey wanted us to be safe. We don't have a ton of snow but there is quite a bit. We have a car but we share it half the week with the Elders. There are Elders serving in our ward too which is nice. We have a lot of area to cover so to have two sets of missionaries is awesome. It is just me and my companion in the apartment. My companion is Sister Johnson and she is from the Seattle, Washington area. She has been out for 16 months. She doesn't like talking about going home. I think we will get along great! She was an elementary school teacher before she came out.
We are teaching a few people. There is a man that we met my first night out. We knocked on his door and we shared a little bit about the gospel from the door because we couldn't go inside. We decided to go back later in the week. When we went back he let us in to share a longer message. He was very receptive and my companion was testifying of baptism and how it helps us draw closer to Christ and I invited him to be baptized in March. He accepted the invitation and wants to be baptized. We still have a lot to teach him but at least he is willing to follow Christ. I'm serving in the area called Topsham (Topsum) Maine. The people here are so generous and loving. One of the investigators we are teaching says that I look really familiar and that I look like a movie star. Maybe we knew each other in the Pre-earth life, ha ha!
That's so exciting about Michaela Wilson. Tell her congrats for me! Tell Joseph Happy late birthday for me and tell him that I am proud of him for living worthy of advancing in the Priesthood. I don't have my luggage yet. I should be getting it tomorrow. I have been wearing the same two outfits all week and I have been hand washing some of my clothes until I get my luggage with all my clothes in it. Tell Jennifer and the Ewings thank you for me. President Wilkey told me about the new mission president but I haven't seen the picture yet. He also told us that 58 new missions are going to be opening up. That's so awesome that missionary work is growing so quickly!!!
This week I have studied how to recognize the Spirit more. In Moroni 10 Moroni exhorts us to do things that will help us recognize the Spirit in our lives. Will you read Moroni 10 and work on ways to recognize the Spirit in your lives? I have realized how essential it is for me to have the Spirit with me and how important it is for our investigators to feel the Spirit. The gospel is true and Jesus is our Savior! Thank you for all of your prayers and support. You are all in my prayers!! I love you so much!!! I'm sorry this is so short-hopefully I'll get quicker at writing.
  Love,
    Sister Griffin

Callee called my mom on Monday February 18.  She is now in New Hampshire.  She is doing good.
Here are some things from Callee's letter from last week.  I am sorry that I haven't put anything before now.
One of her teachers is Brother Johnson.  He went to the same mission at Josh Redfearn.  He rememberd Josh.  We got two new sisters in our room.  They are going to be serving in the California Carlsbad Mission.  We have some amazing teachers.  Sister Hoopes is so spiritual.  The sisters and I wish we could take her to New Hampshire with us.  I would love to serve with her.  She shared an amazing experience that she had on her mission and it helped me realize how important it is to heed the promptings of the Spirit and to never give up.  On Sunday we watched a talk from that Elder Holland gave a few years ago.  He talked about how missions are forever.  He told us that we must take advantage of every opportunity to bear witness of Christ. It was such a powerful talk. I hope I can become the missionary that God needs me to be. On Tuesday our devotional was good. The speaker was Elder Gregory A. Schwitzer. He talked about the importance of conversion in our lives and in our investigators' lives. I love the Spirit that is felt here at the MTC. I haven't had the chance to greet new missionaries at the curb but I love telling them, "Welcome to the MTC!" We were able to go to the temple last Thursday and we are able to go this Thursday. I love going to the temple!! My companion and I are getting along great. When we are practicing teaching lessons we work really well together. We both love to laugh and make jokes as day goes on.

Calle's first email.

Callee sent an email last week.  She is doing  good. She said she is learning a lot more about the gospel. She also talked about learning  more about the Atonement.  She asked us to read more about the Atonement.
